Our involvement in the nachhaltigkeitsabkommen Thüringen [Thuringia sustainability agreement] is testimony to our twenty-year pursuit of the goal to make manufacturing processes more efficent and environmentally sound than the generally prevailing standard.
This we achieve by:
  • Full thermal insulation of all buildings

  • Use of organic hydraulic oils to reduce the power consumption of processing machinery by 6%

  • CO2- free operation with 100 % waste heat recovery with a combined floor heating/heat storage system in all production areas (during winter).

  • Process heat absorption via underground heat accumulators with integrated heat pump technology for the floor
    heating system in the office/social areas and toolmaking areas.
